Glenn Ryszko was born in The Netherlands in 1986 and is a self-taught field recordist and instrumentalist. He uses field recordings as the source material for his work. These field recordings are often processed into abstract textures to create multilayered compositions of minimal drones, noises and melodies. Glenn is interested in the process of transformation and composing with existing material. He also uses instrumentation like electric-guitar, gong and tibetan bells which are often processed as well.
